Our Pastors
Pastors Luke and Shawna Jacobs graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in 2000 and have been in the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ ever since. They served as associate pastors at Smiths Falls Word of Faith Fellowship (Canada) from 2003-2005 and felt the call of God to come back to central Calfornia.
The Life Church-Avenal was founded by our pastors in 2005 and has been going strong since. If you are interested in having Pastor Luke or Pastor Shawna minister at your church, please contact us at thelifechurchavenal@gmail.com.

We realize visiting a church for the first time can be nerve-racking, but having an idea of what to expect can help. No matter where you are or what season of life you are in, you are welcome here. We hope that you'll give us an opportunity to show you the warm hospitality that makes this church such a special place.
WHAT ARE SERVICES LIKE?
Sunday morning worship services are around an hour and a half and consist of passionate worship and practical teaching from the Word of God that you can apply to your daily life.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR KIDS?
We love seeing kids enjoy coming to church and loving God! We have age-specific preschool and school-age classes for children 2-11. Everything we do in our children’s ministry is focused on bringing children to a relationship with Jesus at an early age.
WHAT DO YOU HAVE FOR TEENAGERS?
The Life Church-Avenal is devoted to reaching teenagers and helping them build lives that are strong and thriving in every area. We believe that God wants the Church to be full of young people who love Him. Twice a month, we have classes just for teenagers that are fun, inspiring and powerful.
